Novak Djokovic has reached the All England Club to try to take the court at Wimbledon. The Serbian champion has already carried out two training sessions in London and, in an interview given to the British media and in the words reported by the Daily Express, he specified that he will make the final decision before the draw so as not to alter the order of the seeds and to show respect to your colleagues.

"It's great to be back. The plan - from the beginning - was to try to play Wimbledon: that's what I'm trying to do. That's why I came here first, to see how things go. A lot of people think maybe it's not realistic or not smart anyway, but I wouldn't be here if I hadn't gotten permission from the medical staff. I'm very happy with how things are going. I'm not pushing it 100% yet, but I can't hope to be able to do it in the next few days rehabilitation has been going in the right direction every single day. I will make a decision based on how things go in the next four or five days. I will only play if I think I'm going to win? Of course, that's why I'm here to play some shift. I have no plans to retire from tennis yet, so it wouldn't be my last Wimbledon," he told.

To further test his knee and his physical condition, the Serbian champion will train in the next few hours with Jannik Sinner. Practically all that was expected was his arrival among the great protagonists expected during the competition. The Italian, new ATP No.1, has officially landed on the courts of the All England Club in London and has begun the final part of preparation for the upcoming, highly anticipated Wimbledon Championships. The Italian carried out a training session already on Wednesday, trying the usual movements on the grass and exchanging with the Argentine Federico Coria.

As reported by many Italian media, Jannik will return to the court today, in a few hours, together with Djokovic: the two will play together for an hour and test their respective physical condition.

Sinner is fresh from his splendid triumph at the ATP 500 in Halle and has thus acquired further confidence on this surface, while Nole underwent surgery about 20 days ago on the meniscus of his right knee and is still trying to be part of the match. Then on Friday there will be the draw in which the Italian athlete will discover the pairings of the first round and the projections in the main draw. Sinner will lead the scoreboard of a Slam tournament as number 1 for the first time ever: a great achievement achieved by the Italian, now ready to defend the top of the rankings and assert his status as the main seed. The most fearsome opponent, in addition to the Serbian should he confirm his presence, will be the defending champion Carlos Alcaraz, who could end up on the same side of the draw, being number 3.
