Tennis - Having missed the fall swing on the ATP Tour, world no. 4 Andy Murray is making sure he gets enough matches under his belt before heading into the Australian Open grand slam event in Melbourne in a few weeks. Murray will play singles and doubles at the ATP event in Doha in the first week of the 2014 tennis calendar.
He will partner Serbian veteran Nenad Zimonjic in the doubles event. Zimonjic, a top doubles player on the circuit, tweeted this message earlier today - My partner in Doha will be Andy Murray! I can not wait to start the new season. Murray reached the finals of the Australian Open in 2013 and also won Wimbledon but had to miss the French Open due to injury.
