Andy Murray and Tomas Berdych go through to the Quarterfinals in Rotterdam

Tennis: Top seed Andy Murray, third seed Tomas Berdych and eighth seed Gilles Simon have gone through to the Quarterfinals of the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam. The World No.4 and 2-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray was up against Vasek Pospisil.

The Briton was very strong on his serve in the first set as he did not face even a single break point and one break of serve was enough to give him the first set 6-3. In the second set Pospisil fought better and broke Murray at 3-4 to go 5-3 up.

He served for the set there but Murray broke back and won 4 games in a row to take the second set 7-5 and booked his place in the next round. Tomas Berdych gave a bagel to Andreas Seppi in the first set and lost the second set 3-6 as the match was forced into a deciding set.

The Czech needed only one break in the third set as he won it 6-3 to go through to the last 8. Eighth seed Gilles Simon got a 6-4, 6-3 straight sets win over his compatriot Jeremy Chardy.
