Milos Raonic shows that he is not ready to win a Grand Slam yet

Tennis: The top seed Milos Raonic lacked the killer instinct once again and showed that why he is not ready to win a Grand Slam yet, as he faltered in the second round of Marseille against Simone Bolelli in a close 3-set match. Raonic had beaten Bolelli last week in the second round of the ABN Amro Tennis Championship in Rotterdam in straight sets 6-3, 7-6.

The Canadian had won by exactly the same score when they faced eachother in Rome last year. It looked like a similar results was coming once again, as Raonic had three break points to go 4-2 up in the sixth game, but Bolelli managed to save all and held his serve.

That hold of serve gave him confidence and he broke Raonic in the ninth game. Bolelli held his serve to take the first set 6-4. In the second set, a single break of serve was enough for Raonic to take the second set 6-3 and forced the match into the deciding set.

He lost only five points in his five service games in the second set. There were no breaks in the third set as the set was forced into a tie-break. Raonic lost only 3 points in his 6 service games, but he got broken twice in the tie-break, as Bolelli won the tie-break 7-3 to get through.
