Novak Djokovic breezed through in his second round match against Andrey Golubev at the Dubai Tennis Championships. The world no.1 won in straight sets 6-1, 6-2 in an hour to take his place in the quarter-final. The top-seed will play the quarter-final on Thursday against the winner of the Marsel Ilhan and Feliciano Lopez match.
The Serb won 58 points to Golubev's 34. The four-time champion hit one ace and had zero double faults, while the Kazakh hit two aces and had one double fault. Djokovic converted four of his 10 break point chances and didn't give Golubev any opportunities to break his own serve.
