The moment Fabio Fognini walked towards Rafael Nadal's chair to shout his disappointment to the Spaniard was one of the highlights of the 2015 ATP Hamburg final. If you missed it, you can check the VIDEO Here. Now we get to know a little bit better of what made the Italian so upset with Nadal and what exactly Fabio shouted to the 14-time Grand Slam champion when during the changeover he was going to get ready to serve for the second set.
Toni Nadal talked to cadenaser.com to explain why according to him the Italian was addressing his rage towards him rather than Rafael. "I don't think Fognini referred to Rafael, but was rather angry at me. At some point he complained about Rafa's time wasting between points, then he was also mad at Rafa for some lucky shots he hit.
When Fabio said 'don't take a p*** out of me' he was referring to me, because I was encouraging Rafa from the box. Sometimes Fognini has a weird attitude on court" revealed Toni the day after the final. Rafael Nadal and his team didn't spend too much time worrying about Fognini anyways, but rather enjoyed the success coming from an other victory.
"I think this title will give Rafael the confidence he needs for the rest of the season" confirmed Toni, speaking to the media. ALSO READ Why Maria Sharapova affected Grigor Dimitrov's career
