Teenage triumph occurred during the qualification tournament for next Week's US Open as five young players edged their way past three qualifying matches to reach the main draw. The addition of five teenage qualifiers has increased the total number of teenagers in the men’s main draw to 10, double the amount of last year's tournament.
It will be the biggest group of young players playing in the main draw at Flushing Meadows since 1990 when there was 12. It is clear that a new generation of the ATP is making their way onto the big stage. The teenagers who received automatic places in the main draw are Borna Coric, Thanasi Kokkinakis, Jared Donaldson (wild card), Chung Hyeon and Frances Tiafoe (wild card). So who are the five teenage qualifiers joining them in the main draw?
