Tennis - That Kei Nishikori is a national icon in Japan is nothing new and he is always expected to draw huge crowds when he plays in his home country. However, even organizers of the ATP Japan Open in Tokyo were surprised when more than 9,000 fans turned out to watch Nishikori in practice on Sunday.
Nishikori was one of may players practiving on Sunnday including Gael Monfils, Marin Cilic and Feliciano Lopez.
