ATP Auckland: Steve Johnson upsets John Isner, to play Jack Sock in semis

Second seed John Isner was upset by fellow American and seventh seed Steve Johnson in their quarter-final. Johnson will play another American, Jack Sock in the semi-final. The fourth seed defeated Jeremy Chardy in the quarter-final.

Eighth seed Marcos Baghdatis also reached the semi-final with a win over Jiri Vesely. The Cypriot will play Joao Sousa in the second-last match. The Portuguese player defeated Robin Haase in the quarter-final. ATP Auckland Quarter-finals Joao Sousa (POR) def.
