Canadian youngster Milos Raonic looked dangerous in his first round win at Wimbledon on Wednesday, firing 20 aces past Santiago Giraldo to move into the second round. The match was held over from yesterday, but Raonic required only two minutes to finish off his opponent.
The Canadian is considered by many to be a dark horse in this year's Championships, and has been drawn into the same half of the draw as Nadal and Murray. He plays again tomorrow. In other action, Juan Monaco continued his good season with a solid 6-2, 3-6, 6-3, 7-6(3) win over Jeremy Chardy.
