Wimbledon - Nadal Stunned By Qualifier

Rafael Nadal suffered one of the biggest upsets in tennis history at Wimbledon on Thursday, when he lost to qualifier Lukas Rosol 6-7 (9), 6-4, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4. The Spaniard seemed out of sorts from the start, and was unable to gain traction throughout much of the match, despite winning the first set.

Rosol, on the other hand, improved with every game, and was unstoppable by the end. “You play against an inspired opponent and I am out," Nadal said afterwards. "That's all. It’s not a tragedy. It’s only a tennis match.

At the end, that's life. There are much more important things. Sure, I wanted to win, but I lost. That's it”. With Nadal out, Andy Murray is now the favorite to reach the final on his side of the draw.
