Wimbledon - Murray Battles Past Baghdatis

Andy Murray survived yet another scare at Wimbledon on Saturday, and needed four sets to dispatch of his talented opponent. Murray seemed in control of the match at a set and a break up, but some sloppy play from the Scot and inspired play from the Cypriot saw him lose the second, and nearly lose the third.

However, he composed himself to eventually clinch a 7-5, 3-6, 7-5, 6-1 victory. "I think the quality of tennis improved under the roof,” Murray said afterwards. “I was under the impression I was stopping at 11:00 regardless of what the score was.

Even if it was in the middle of a game. But, yeah, [I’m] obviously glad that I managed to get the finish. And the atmosphere at the end was excellent.”
