Croatian tennis player Marin Cilic has split with coach Jonas Bjorkman.
The Croatian added Bjorkman to his coaching team during the 2016 season.
Former Swedish tennis player Bjorkman also worked with tennis superstar Andy Murray in 2015.
@BjorkmanTennis and me won't be working together anymore.— Marin Cilic (@cilic_marin) December 8, 2017
We had some great results during 16 months and established an amazing relationship. It was a great pleasure to work with him.
Would like to thank him for all his efforts and wish him the best. pic.twitter.com/vMWolKrSax
Cilic won one title this past season and reached a career-high of No. 4 in October.
The Croatian world No. 6 also ended runner-up at Wimbledon and Queen's, as well as picked up four semi-final losses in 2017.
Cilic also played at the Nitto ATP Finals in back-to-back years while coached by Bjorkman.
The Croatian failed to make it past the Round Robin stage on both occasions.
The 29-year-old concluded his 2017 campaign at The O2 Arena with three losses and zero wins.
Cilic also collaborates with former Croatian tennis player Ivan Cinkus for a couple of years now.
It remains to be seen will Cilic find a replacement for Bjorkman before the 2018 season starts.
