After beating Argentine Federico Delbonis in the 2nd Round of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, Roger Federer attended the customary post match press conference. I asked the Swiss if he was able to pick the best match he has ever played and he picked the 2004 US Open Final against Lleyton Hewitt.
At the time Roger was trailing 5-8 in the head-to-head but in his own words: "That day I wasn't expecting to win. I had always suffered against him but I felt I had finally found the key and won pretty comfortably 6-0, 7-6, 6-0".
That day Federer clinched the 1st of 5 US Open and the 4th of 20 Majors. Follow Filippo on Twitter @FilippoScala1 .
