The organizers of the ATP 250 event in Winston-Salem have announced the names of the remaining two players who received main draw wild cards, offering a chance to Taylor Fritz and Borna Gojo to skip qualifications and enter the main draw directly. The 20-year-old American will play at the Wake Forest University complex for the third year in a row, losing to Fernando Verdasco in the second round in 2016 and to Roberto Bautista Agut in the quarters last year after scoring three wins.

Taylor is currently ranked 70th after winning 13 matches so far in 2018, reaching the semi-final in Houston and the fourth round at Indian Wells, also competing in the last eight at Delray Beach and Lyon. After Lyon, Taylor has won three of the last nine matches on the Tour and he will try to repeat that next week and at least stay in the Top 70.

Borna Gojo is one of the leading players of the local Wake Forest University, earning a wild card after helping the Demon Deacons to win the first NCAA title and he was also the singles finalist, losing to his teammate Petros Chrysochos in straight sets.

This will be an ATP debut for Gojo for the 20-year-old who comes from Split, the hometown of Goran Ivanisevic and Mario Ancic, losing in the second qualifying round here 12 months ago. Borna is currently ranked 535th and he has played in the quarter-final of the Lexington Challenger two weeks ago for his career-high ranking.

Borna has played in two Futures finals in 2016 and 2017 and this will be a chance for him to shine in front of the local fans on familiar courts, especially with a favorable draw. ALSO READ: Rafael Nadal or Roger Federer - Who has to defend the most in 2018?
