Austrian tennis superstar Dominic Thiem has signed a sponsorship deal with Red Bull. Thiem, ranked at No. 7 on the ATP rankings list, is one of the most biggest and most popular Austrian athletes. The 25-year-old has landed yet another notable sponsorship deal as he already represents a couple of well-known brands.
The Austrian also has sponsorship deals with Babolat, Adidas, Bank Austria, Kia and Rolex. Thiem has had a successfull season so far though he hasn't captured his maiden Masters 1000 or a Grand Slam title. The Austrian fell just short of landing his maiden Masters 1000 and a Grand Slam title this year.
Thiem lost to German Alexander Zverev in the Madrid Masters final and was defeated by world No. 1 Rafael Nadal in the French Open respectively. Still, the 25-year-old has won three ATP titles so far this year as he made it all the way at the Argentina Open in Buenos Aires, the Open Parc Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Lyon and last week's St.
Petersburg Open. The St. Petersburg indoor title meant a lot to Thiem -- who has now won at least one title on each surface.
