Former world No. 3 Marin Cilic, five-time ATP champion Nick Kyrgios, this year’s Australian Open semi-finalist Lucas Pouille and rising Canadian star Felix Auger-Aliassime have all signed up to play the Hurlingham exhibition ahead of Wimbledon, per Michal Samulski.
Cilic, now ranked at No. 13 in the world, is set to debut on the grass of Hurlingham as he has no previous appearances at the tournament. 2017 Wimbledon runner-up Cilic will do his last preparation for Wimbledon in Hurlingham as he will certainly be targeting to make another deep run at The All England Club.
Kyrgios, who made the semi-final in Stuttgart and Queen’s last year, will also be making his debut appearance at the British grass-court event when he steps on the grass of Hurlingham. Auger-Aliassime, 19, is set for his first-ever grass campaign as he hasn’t played on a grass surface since turning professional.
The Canadian has been impressive this season as he is now enjoying a career-high ranking of No. 22 in the world. On the other side, former world No.10 Pouille is set to make his second consecutive appearance in Hurlingham.
In his Hurlingham debut, the Frenchman lost to fellow compatriot Richard Gasquet before he beat world No. 2 Rafael Nadal. The Hurlingham event is set to be held from June 25-28.
