Croatian tennis star Borna Coric exclusively revealed to Carole Bouchard that he is "finishing the process of bringing a new team together for next year" as the 22-year-old will be aiming to bounce back from a not-so-great-2018-season next year.
On Monday, world No. 25 Coric continued his poor form as he picked up his fifth consecutive loss after falling short against Spain's Fernando Verdasco in the Paris Masters first round. After splitting with his coach Ricardo Piatti at the beginning of September, Coric made his first final of the season at the St.
Petersburg Open but failed to lift the title as Russian superstar Daniil Medvedev was too much for the Croatian in the final. Unfortunately for Coric, the St. Petersburg run didn't turn out to be the breakthrough he needed as he has claimed only one win and five losses since the final at the Russian ATP 250 event.
However, former world No. 12 Coric's season still isn't over as he also told Bouchard that he is looking forward to representing Croatia at the inaugural Davis Cup Finals event from November 18-24 in Madrid.
