French tennis star Benoit Paire has signed up to play at the Open Sud de France next year as he will be making his eighth appearance on the indoor-hard courts of Montpellier in February, per Michal Samulski. The 30-year-old Frenchman's best result in Montpellier came in 2013, when he made the final before losing to fellow compatriot Richard Gasquet.
Meanwhile, 2019 Next Gen ATP Finals champion Jannik Sinner, 2017 Paris Masters runner-up Filip Krajinovic and former world No. 12 Feliciano Lopez have been also confirmed for Montpellier. Sinner, who recently turned 18 years and has emerged as one of the most talented players on the Tour, will be making his debut at the Montpellier event.
On the other side, 27-year-old Krajinovic is set to make back-to-back appearances in Montpellier, while 38-year-old veteran Lopez will be making only his third appearance at the French ATP 250 event. Krajinovic made the Montpellier quarterfinals in his debut earlier this year, while Lopez reached the round-of-16 at the event in 2012 and 2017.
