Spain's Pablo Carreno Busta and Joao Sousa of Portugal have both made a few scheduling changes for the new season. Carreno Busta, 28, and 30-year-old Sousa will skip the Golden Swing and instead play European indoor events, per Jose Morgado.
Both Carreno Busta and Sousa consider clay as their favorite surface but they won't be playing on the dirt in February. The two had been one of the most regular participants at the Golden Swing over the last couple of years.
The Golden Swing consists of four tournaments and it takes place in February, after the Australian Open. The Golden Swing in 2020 will be kicked off on February 03, when the Cordoba Open in Argentina starts. The Rio Open, Argentina Open in Buenos Aires and Chile Open in Santiago are also a part of the Golden Swing.
On the other side, three European indoor tournaments will take place in February. The Open Sud de France in Montpellier, ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam and Open 13 Provence in Marseille are the three European indoor tournaments scheduled for February. It remains to be seen where will Carreno Busta and Sousa play in February.
