Greek tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas has been announced as the final participant at the 2020 Eisenhower Cup. The Eisenhower Cup -- a Tie Break Tens event -- will feature some of the biggest stars of the game and the winner will take home $150,000.
19-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal will headline the Eisenhower Cup player field for the second consecutive year. World No. 4 Dominic Thiem and fifth-ranked Daniil Medvedev will also take part at the event on March 10.
The experienced Stan Wawrinka and Milos Raonic, as well rising stars Matteo Berrettini and Taylor Fritz, are also expected to play. "We are thrilled that The Eisenhower Cup presented by Masimo will once again serve as a kickoff to the BNP Paribas Open and raise funds for local charities," Indian Wells Masters Tournament Director Tommy Haas said.
“A huge thank you to Rafa and all of these incredible players for taking part in such a fantastic event. What a perfect way to welcome everyone to another year in Tennis Paradise”.
