USA's Sam Querrey and Danielle Collins have signed up to play the Hawaii Open, the tournament announced. The Hawaii exhibition event is set for a star player lineup as 2014 US Open runner-up Kei Nishikori and former world No.
1 Angelique Kerber are also expected to play at the tournament. Querrey, a 2017 Wimbledon semifinalist and former world No. 11, is looking forward to kicking off his 2020 season at the Hawaii Open. "I’m excited to play in Honolulu at the Hawaii Open this year," Querrey said."
Hawaii is one of my favorite places to visit, and the event is a great way for me to get ready before the start of the 2020 season in Australia. I’m looking forward to seeing all the fans in Honolulu this December!" Collins, who made her maiden Grand Slam semifinal at the Australian Open earlier this year, is excited to the Hawaii event.
"I am so excited to return to the beautiful island of Oahu for the third time to play in this fun event! The Hawaii Open is a great way to kick off my 2020 season and I can’t wait to meet all the fans!” Collins said. The Hawaii Open is due to be held from December 26-28.
