American tennis star Taylor Fritz has signed up to play at the Hawaii Open, the tournament announced. The American world No. 32 joins a star-studded Hawaii player field as 2016 Wimbledon runner-up Milos Raonic, 2014 US Open runner-up Kei Nishikori, former world No.

1 Maria Sharapova, three-time Grand Slam champion Angelique Kerber and 2019 US Open champion Bianca Andreescu are also expected to play at the event. Fritz, who won his maiden title this year and achieved a career-high ranking of No.

25 in the world, will be aiming to perform well at the Hawaii Open from December 26-28 and use it as a good preparation for the new season.
