Noah Rubin shares thoughts on running online tutorial to earn money

With many tennis players struggling to make ends meet during the current tennis shutdown, 24 year old American Noah Rubin came up with a novel idea to make some money during this period. The former junior Wimbledon champion spoke to the Tennis Channel of his idea to use the Internet to offer some tutorials to budding tennis players.

“I had this idea for some time and this quarantine was the ideal time to put it into practice. It was the way I found to help change people's lives through tennis. I posted on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. And I had about 50 requests from students right away.

I selected 25 students, we agreed on prices and things are happening." Rubin says he has been charging $ 30 to $ 35 per class. “I charge $ 30 to $ 35 per class. Before I used to give some, but now it is much cheaper.

My students send me videos to execute the strokes and I answer them with videos of me correcting what is not right. If you want a second comment on a certain blow, that's another 10 dollars. It's been a lot of fun and it's a way to keep me connected to tennis ” Rubin is also responsible for the 'Behnd the Racquet' series in which several players highlight their journey and struggles during their tennis careers and lives.

Rubin is currently ranked No. 225 in the world and has been as high as No. 125 in the past.
