Noah Rubin Included Amongst 20 People Who Matter in Tennis

American tennis player Noah Rubin says he is honoured to be mentioned in L'Equipe's list of 20 people who matter in tennis. Rubin posted a tweet in which he says, "I want to thank @lequipe for the honor of even being mentioned on the same page as the 19 other people who “matter most in tennis”.

It’s not to brag but shows the effort my team and I give to tennis. I don’t feel worthy but promise to keep working until I do...and long past that" Rubin is best known for his work on the 'Behind the Racquet' tennis series in which tennis players have chronicled their struggles in their life on and off the circuit.

He has also been quite vocal about the struggles of lower ranked players in recent times during the bushfire crisis as well as during the current tennis shutdown.

The others mentioned in the list include Roger Federer, Serena Williams, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Craig Tiley, Billie Jean King, Tennis Agents, Andrea Gaudenzi, Steve Simon, Stacey Allaster, Sally Bolton, Arnaud Boetsch, Bernard Giudicelli, Andy Murray, Patrick Mouratoglou, Darren Cahill, John McEnroe, Larry Ellison and Ion Tiriac.
