Actor Andrew Garfield admitted he gets compared a lot to Andy Murray and some fans want to see a movie in which Garifleld will play Murray. Garfield was a guest on the Jonathan Ross show and he was asked about being compared to Murray.
"I do, yeah, my friends will be very happy you said that because they are always trying to convince me that I do look like [him]," said Garfield, per Sportskeeda. Garfield also said he gets compared to Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal and joked was something like a "love child" of the trio.
"But I also get a Federer and I get Nadal, like a Federer, Nadal, Murray love child, which would be amazing in tennis," Garfield added.
Murray motivated to have a big 2022
Murray, 34, has been ranked outside the top-100 for quite some time but he is determined to have a big offseason and bounce back in 2022.
“I just want to get the most out of what I can, whilst I'm still able to do it,” Murray exclusively told Eurosport. “I've spoken to many ex-players that have said, ‘When it's gone, nothing will replace it.
So enjoy it whilst you're able to, play as long as you can’. Because I know a lot of players have stopped and kind of regret it when they could have kept going”. Murray is happy that he is serving as an inspiration to others.
“The fact that I'm able to still do this, and compete with the best players in the world with a metal hip, I'm proud that I'm able to do that and I think there's very few people that would be able to compete (like that).
“I've had lots of people come up to me and say, ‘It's inspirational that you keep trying, you keep fighting and you keep going’, and I guess that's something that I would, probably when I finished playing, be remembered for”.
