Andy Murray became father only 16 months ago when his daughter Sophia was born on 8 February, but a new member of the family is on the way as well. According to The Telegraph, Andy and his wife Kim are expecting their second child.
They have already announced it to family and friends and although Murray did not want to comment on it publicly, his spokesman confirmed the happy news. Priorities changed in the last months for Murray, who recently said: 'My child is more important to me and my wife is more important to me than a tennis match.
It’s a big change for me and my wife, but that’s the current priority.’ Probably Kim is going to give birth in 2018, and maybe around February again. Andy tries to spend as much time as possible with his family.
He recently revealed that being on the Tour playing tournaments, he missed Sophia's first steps and words. We will see if the second child's arrival will change his tournaments schedule. For Andy, Wimbledon event is special also because he can sleep in his own bed and can spend time with his daughter Sophia.
Not so much, though, as she starts sleeping from 6:30 PM. 'That's why I try not to finish practicing late', he said a few weeks ago. ALSO READ: Ivan Lendl, Federer and Djokovic are sure Murray will play Wimbledon
