For the first time in a month and a half, there are new updates about Andy Murray's recovery from hip injury. At the moment the former world No. 1 is just doing gym session, and he plans to comeback to practice on the tennis court in around a forthnight or a month, according to BBC.
Then he should do the warm-weather training block in April, and in May he could possibly back to compete in the clay-court season, which is earlier than expected as he had said that would have returned at the Queen's Club in June on grass before Wimbledon.
Of course it will all depend from how the hip reacts to the practice and so forth, but on Twitter in January Murray had not ruled out that he could have played on clay. If he does it and includes Roland Garros in his schedule, he will definitely add at least one event in preparation.
'There is plenty of positivity', a source close to Murray said on Wednesday. ALSO READ: Andy Murray's surprise to his fans!
