Tennis superstar Andy Murray continues to invest money through crowdfunding platform Seedrs. The 30-year-old has invested money in mortgage lender Landbay. The amount that the Scot invested hasn't been made public. The 30-year-old already invested in the company two years ago.
There is also a chance that Murray will make a future investment in Landbay so he could maintain his stake in that startup. Through crowdfunding platform Seedrs, the Scot has so far invested in more than 30 UK based businesses.
“I am excited to be maintaining my shareholding in Landbay, as the company’s growth and achievements so far has been extremely impressive,” Murray said. Meanwhile, Murray continues to recover from a hip surgery.
The three-time Grand Slam champion hasn't played since Wimbledon. The 30-year-old's recovery has been going well so far as he has started hitting the practice court once again. Former world No. 1 Murray is expected to return to action in June on the grass of s-Hertogenbosch.
