The Sunday Times Rich ranks Andy Murray on its new list

Tennis superstar Andy Murray has been ranked as the second wealthiest sportsmen in Great Britain on the new The Sunday Times Rich List. Famous golfer Rory Mcllroy leads the list as he was ranked at No. 1 on the The Sunday Times Rich List: Richest Young Sports Stars.

Murray has earned just less than $61 million in tournament prize money so far in his career. Football superstars -- Gareth Bale and Sergio Aguero -- are both ranked behind Murray at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. British boxing superstar Anthony Joshua comes up next on the list at No.

The former world No. 1 hopes to make a comeback next month during when the grass-court season kicks off.

However, the reports which have emerged this week suggested that Murray may not be fit to make his return during the grass-court season. Also read: Nick Kyrgios withdraws from Rome Masters
