Amelie Mauresmo paid a great tribute to Andy Murray, with who he worked for around two years, from 2014 to 2016. Mauresmo got a lot of very good results with Murray, including reaching the 2015 and 2016 Australian Open finals and winning seven ATP titles.
In a conference call on Saturday, announcing that she will become the Davis Cup French team captain for 2019 and 2020 seasons replacing Yannick Noah, Mauresmo stated: 'I am obviously very proud of the trust put in me. I am thinking of Andy Murray because without him I would not be here today.
He had confidence in me when others thought that it was an aberration.' ALSO READ: Roger Federer opens up on his physical shape after two long weeks
