Andy Murray launches a challenge and implicitly dares Roger Federer to take it on

Roger Federer is not the only tennis celebrity posting funny challenges on his social media during the Tour suspention... “Hi everyone! I’m here with my wife Kim and we are going to attempt the hundred-volley-partner challenge," said Andy Murray, introducing his most recent Twitter video After a missed attempt and a few miraculous saves - and despite Kim holding a children’s racket - Murray and his wife completed the challenge: a hundred volleys together.

To wrap it in an epic way, Kim aimed a bomb of a shot at her husband - but to show that they don’t hold any grudge, they hugged before addressing viewers once again. “We’re calling at everyone in the tennis community and their partners to try the hundred-volley challenge,” Andy concluded.

The video was posted on April 9, and it came with a caption that may have drawn a few smiles from fans - some of humor, and some of anticipation. “A challenge to all tennis players and fans…” wrote Murray.

“The volley challenge. There was no bickering during the filming of the video, although I think the last volley was aimed at my head…” Twitter users suggested that seeing Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf taking on the challenge would be great, others said they would love to see Serena Williams, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and their partners volley, or but Murray had one special couple in mind: “I can't be the only one that wants to see [Roger Federer] and Mirka hitting a few balls together…” he wrote.

Will the Swiss Maestro take on the challenge? The ball is on your side of the court, Roger...
