Now, world No. 30 Kyrgios is set to be a part of the inaugural ATP Cup as he hopes to lead Team Australia to the title. "Maybe when he (Kyrgios) is at the ATP Cup, he's going to really enjoy it," Laver exclusively told the ATP Tour.
"I think the camaraderie with the team concept he seems to like and enjoy. Because at the Laver Cup, he just showed it; he didn't mess around when he was playing." Alex de Minaur, John Millman, John Peers and Chris Guccione will also be a part of the Australian ATP Cup team.
Australia will be competing for the top spot of Group F against Germany, Greece and Canada. The inaugural ATP Cup will be held across three Australian cities, from January 03-12.
