Australian Priscilla Hon Sets up Online Venture During Tennis Shutdown

Australian tennis player Priscilla Hon is using the tennis shutdown to work on her entrepreneurial skills. The 21 year old Hon has set up an online luxury home accessory business, P-Luxe Essentials. Hon posted the update on her Twitter account and says she had been dreaming about the same for a considerable period of time.

The 21 year old Hon has reached a career-high ranking of No. 188 in singles in October 2019, and No. 91 in doubles in April 2018. She is currently ranked No. 132 in the WTA singles rankings.

Hon has also been spending some of her time in quarantine by keeping fit. As a junior, Hon achieved a career-high ranking of No.

13 in the world and reached the semifinals of the 2014 Wimbledon Championships girls' doubles event. She has won 4 ITF singles titles and 10 ITF doubles titles in her career. During the 2020 season, Hon reached the second round of the Australian Open event, where she entered as a wild card.

She also qualified for the WTA Qatar Total Open, where she won 2 matches in qualifying prior to losing in the first round. Her last tournament was the WTA Lyon event , where she lost to Jaqueline Adina Cristian in the first round.

Her best performances at the Grand Slams have been reaching the second round of the Australian Open and the French Open.
