The Miami Heat player is a fan of Carlitos, while Shakira was present at the Wimbledon nsemifinals, to watch Carlos Alcaraz's match against Russian player Daniil Medvedev.

Butler joined all the fans of the young Spaniard in the challenge won against 23 times Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic. Along with the Miami Heat star, many other stars celebrated Alcaraz's win. Among them, the 19-year-old daughter of tennis stars Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi also joined the chorus of voices for Carlitos.

Carlos Alcaraz's humility: "Novak Djokovic is still the best"

Carlos Alcaraz is enjoying the incredible success in the 2023 edition of Wimbledon, which brought the number of Grand Slam titles won in his career to 2. In an interview with Tennis Channel, after his triumph on Centre Court, the Spanish star preached calm and for a moment brought his feet firmly on the ground when the journalist told him that he had become the best in the world with this statement on Novak Djokovic.

The Spaniard replied: "I know that now everyone will want to beat me and it's nice, but I always keep an eye on Nole. I'd like to play many more times against him, because it's a tremendous challenge and I still consider him the best.

It's not just beating him in one game to change things, I have to do it multiple times." Currently, in the three head-to-heads played between the two, Carlitos is ahead 2-1 and lost the only match, the semifinal of Roland Garros, by withdrawal.

Alcaraz added: "Being champion here shows how hard and how well my team and I are working. In difficult moments I always tell myself that I have to keep my style, that I have to be aggressive and go for what I want, without any fear.

I think being true to myself is the best way to deal with difficult situations and is what will allow me to be proud of myself, even if I end up losing. In this game it was essential to be able to reason point by point and give the maximum effort in each point.

I've always had confidence in my chances and it was very special to see the support I received from the stands. Sometimes I am amazed at how quickly everything is happening. However, I begin to reflect on all the work my team does and I realize that it is no coincidence.

It gives me a lot of peace of mind training at the Ferrero academy, because it's a place where I can concentrate completely on tennis, I have no distractions. Also, I'm very close to my home, I can see my family whenever I want and that gives me the balance I need to be happy."
