The tournament in Madrid continues to cause amazing and very sensational surprises. The world number 3, the Spanish Champion Carlos Alcaraz, surprisingly lost in three sets to the Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev, to the astonishment of the fans and all the experts.

After a good start, the tennis player to Murcia fell and suffered from the comeback of his opponent, who knew how to play the important moments of the match well. A victory that gives to Andrey Rublev a lot of good humor for the rest of the season and risk to ruins Alcaraz's plans for the future.

The Spaniard is in danger of dropping out of the world's top three after many time, and Russian's Player Daniil Medvedev can overtake him with a win tomorrow. Big surprises and Alcaraz, who continues to lose points in the rankings and is now far behind Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic.

The Italian Player, now, has a great choice for become a new number one in Ranking Atp. Rublev won 4:6;6:3;6:2, a victory that certainly represents a historic result, an important result. Alcaraz was the reigning champion here in Madrid, where he won 14 consecutive victories, the defeat in these hours is quite important.

The Spanish athlete didn't lost in front of his fans since 2022, having won two in a row between Barcelona and Madrid. The Spaniard is not in the best physical condition and that is now evident. The physical problems are worrying and during the match the tennis player touched his arm several times.

The Alcaraz fans are worried and hope for a reaction in the coming weeks. Alcaraz will be one of more important player to the tournament of Rome and to the Roland Garros. Alcaraz showed bad sensation (and movement) during the tournament and already risked elimination in the previous round against the German Player Jan-Lennard Struff.

The defeat in Madrid (which hasn't happened since 2022) and the risk of leaving the top 3 of the rankings make the expectations of the tennis player and his team much more difficult. Alcaraz must now react as quickly as possible, starting with the tournament in Rome
