Concordia University Texas men's and women's teams got a super Saturday

The Concordia University Texas men's and women's tennis teams had big victories with the Howard Payne Yellowjackets. The men went their second straight 9-0 and the women went 8-1. As reported by the Concordia University Texas website, in the women's singles, Isabella Cepeda won 6-2, 6-2 on the first court.
Emily Hines (5-7, 3-6) fought back in a thrilling match, while Aria Morai (6-3, 6-3) reclaimed the lead for Concordia on court three. Rebecca McQueen shined in a three-set thriller to perfect singles action as Claire Austin and Natalia Goodman won by default.
In doubles, the teams of Natalia Goodman / Kayla Pena (8-6) and Trinity Klamecki / Austin (8-2) notched wins and Morai / McQueen also won by default. In the men's, Joshua Bode, Esteban Arredondo, Jorge Garcia, Evan Pena Jr.
and Daniel Beckles have not lost more than three games in a single set. Andres Padilla also handled business with a 6-2, 7-5 second-court triumph. The men's doubles teams also excelled as the pairings of Adrian Munguia / Bode (8-3), Nico De La Pena / Arredondo (8-1) and Padilla / Pena Jr.
(8-4) maintained the 9 -0.
