Xavier University of Louisiana women's team defeated 11th-ranked Lindsey Wilson 4-1 in the final day of the Grizzly Invitational. XULA, fifth ranked in the NAIA, finished 2-1 in this event and is 6-3 overall. The Gold Nuggets are 4-2 against ranked opponents, including two wins against Lindsey Wilson.

As reported by XULA website, Mbali Langa, Valentina Largacha and Tianna Dixon won in doubles and singles for XULA. Dixon and McKenna Wheatley grabbed the doubles point with a 6-3 win against Reshma Challarapu and Parisa Rachdanone.

Langa conquered the singles with her 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 victory against Salome Sposetti in the first court. Langa and Largacha won 6-2 at double no. 1 against Sposetti and Anastasiia Ivanchenko. In singles, Largacha won 6-2, 7-5 against Heyka Rodriguez and Dixon won 6-1, 7-6 (8-6) against Mayra Gisone.

XULA's Juliette Finch and Valaine Clarke were up a set in their matches when the Gold Nuggets won.
