Blake was named Pac-12 player of the week for the first time in her career

Stanford's Angelica Blake was named Pac-12 player of the week for the first time in her career. Angelica helped lead the Cardinal to victories over No. 4 Texas on Feb. 23 and No. 57 UC Santa Barbara on Feb. 24.

She earned a victory over No. 22 Sabina Zeynalova of Texas, battling to a 6-3, 0-6, 6-4 victory on the main singles court. She followed it up with a doubles victory on court two against the Gauchos in the Stanford team's 6-1 victory that day.

Also Stanford men's tennis got an honor

Max Basing Jr., for Stanford men's tennis, also received an honor. He won a pair of singles and doubles matches from second place in Stanford's victories over UC Davis on Feb. 22 and California on Feb. 25.

Basing Jr. opened his week with a singles victory over No. 93 Ryan Torres of UC Davis, earning a 7-6 (1), 6-1 win. He also added a 6-3 doubles win against the Aggies.

He earned another win in doubles (6-4) against the Golden Bears and defeated Alex Chang of Cal, 6-3, 6-3 in singles.
