Vanderbilt women's tennis team suffered a 4-0 painful loss to Georgia, Friday at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.

The Dores will close out their regular season at noon Sunday in Knoxville against Tennessee, before returning to Athens next week to compete in the SEC Tournament.

Georgia dominates the SEC standings with an 11-1 conference record. The Dores move to 11-8 overall and 6-6 in SEC play.

Celia-Belle Mohr and Anessa Lee, earned a win over the nation's No. 9 team of Aysegul Mert and Dasha Vidmanova 6-2, but the Dores lost their matches on Courts 2 and 3 and the Bulldogs secured the victory. double the point.

Mohr raced to take the first set against No. 1 Vidmanova. 21, and Dore Holly Staff led 7-6, 2-0 over No. 85 Anastasiia Lopata, but neither player was able to finish their match before Georgia won three singles matches to seal the team's victory.
