Thibault Forget and Maegan Manasse are the Pac-12 Players of the week

USC Trojans sophomore Thibault Forget is still on the great run, as he won two matches at BNP Paribas Open Collegiate Challenge this weekend, for his 10th triumph in a row! Forget brings his team's first point against both Oklahoma and Baylor, helping the Trojans to claim 4-1 victories in both ties against strong rivals.

First, he defeated Oklahoma's Max Mora 6-2 6-1, before being even more impressive against Baylor’s Jimmy Bendeck, toppling him 6-1 6-1. This is the third Player of the week award for the Trojans in 2016, after Nick Crystal in January and Max de Vroome who grab it last week.

This is the first time that Forget took this honour and the record 47th for the Trojans overall. California’s junior Maegan Manasse won her 4th Pac-12 player of the week award in career and second of the season (January 25) after best-ranked Golden Bears scored another convincing triumph over 5th ranked Pepperdine by 7-0.

Manasse, ranked 12th, surprised Luisa Stefani 6-3 6-3, and before that she and Denise Starr have clinched the doubles point for the Bears, beating Stefani and Apichaya Runglerdkriangkrai 6-4. This was the 34th award for California (4th in 2016), trailing just one behind USC.
