There's only one match remaining in the 2016 Division I ITA Women’s All-American Championships at The Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, California, as we got the finalists of this prestige event. Ohio State sophomore Francesca Di Lorenzo and UCLA freshman Ena Shibahara will fight for the crown after both scored straight sets wins in the semis.

A battle between the 1st and 3rd seeds brought a very interesting first set, but in the end, it was Francesca Di Lorenzo who came out victorious against the top seed Hayley Carter by 7-6 6-2 to advance to the title match.

Ena Shibahara reached the main draw only after pre-qualifying rounds and with 8 matches played in 10 days, but there were no signs of tiredness in her 6-3 6-1 win over Astra Sharma. The result went back and forth in the first set of Di Lorenzo vs Carter match, and it was Ohio State player that grab the tie break by 7-3, which helped her a lot in the rest of the match. She was too strong for Carter in set number 2, winning it 6-2 to reach the final in style and where she will be the favorite against Shibahara.

Ena will try to become only the second UCLA player in 34 years with All-American title, and she really found some great form at this event, losing just 2 sets so far and also taking out 4 players from the Top 30. Sharma was no match for her in this encounter, Shibahara controlled it from start to finish to make another big move and make a big final.
