Christophe Noblet, men's tennis head coach at Stetson University Hatters, announced the addition of Todd Hooper as a volunteer assistant coach for the new season. Hooper is a native of Australia and he played Collegiate tennis at BYU-Hawaii and High Point, also working as a tennis director at Hong Kong and as a traveling director of tennis for the ITF and a coach for the WTA.
"Adding a full time volunteer assistant to our program is going to make a huge difference in the development of our student-athletes," Noblet said. "It means a lower 'players-to-coaches ratio', additional feedback, and more individualized practices.SOURCE: Hooper Joins Men's Tennis Staff ALSO READ: Coastal Carolina signs Lawrence Perrin for 2017-18 season
We have a talented group of players this year, and they all need to be challenged differently, in order to maximize their potentials. Todd is passionate about tennis, and teaching the game. He has coached at the highest junior and pro levels, and therefore understands the developmental path that our student-athletes are on.
His expertise will be a great asset to this program, and I know the players are eager to start working with him."
