Director of Athletics at Wagner College, Walt Hameline, has named Anett Ferenczi-Bako as the new women's tennis head coach for the new season. Ferenczi-Bako spent the last 4 years at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), helping the Rebels to claim the 2013 Mountain West Conference Championship and winning 40 singles matches during her career at Las Vegas. She was a four-time Mountain West Scholar-Athlete, with some other awards on her tally, and she was also gathering coaching experience as a tennis pro assistant at Himmelheber Tennis in Las Vegas. Her junior and pro career didn't last for long, but she played in the Hungarian national final twice in 2010 and 2011, winning the U18 title in 2009. Anett is familiar with Wagner, spending the last year at Wagner College Athletic Department administration as the Coordinator of Business and Finance.

"I want to thank Walt Hameline, Michael Miller and the entire Wagner College Athletic Department for providing me with this opportunity," said Ferenczi-Bako. "I'm excited to continue to build upon the success of the tennis program, both in the classroom and on the court."
