Tennis: Juan Martin Del Potro would not be a part of Argentinian Davis Cup team which will face defending champions Czech Republic in their own backyard in Prague. Czech Republic would be lead by their no.1 player Tomas Berdych.
The world no.6, Juan Martin Del Potro's absence has decreased the chance of Argentina even more, because last year Czech Republic had travelled to Argentina to beat the Argentinians in their home, and this time it would be even more difficult.
Del Potro, perhaps needed some time to recover from his early loss at the US Open. The 2009 US Open champion was beaten in 5 sets in the second round by 2001 US Open champion Lleyton.
Argentina has been reaching the semifinals of Davis Cup for last four years and they still have some players who can give Czech Republic a tough competition. Argentina have players like Juan Monaco, Horacio Zeballos, Carlos Berlocq and Leonardo Mayer.
Czech Republic have Berdych, US Open Men's Doubles champion Radek Stepanek, Lukas Dlouhy and Jiri Vesely.
