Croatia's Ivan Dodig speaks on his best Davis Cup memory

Croatian tennis player Ivan Dodig says his best Davis Cup memory was winning it all with his team. Dodig, 34, was a part of the Croatian team that made it all the way last year. The 34-year-old played in all four Croatian ties last year as he represented his country in doubles rubbers.

Croatia beat Canada, Kazakhstan, the United States and France on their way to lifting their second-ever Davis Cup title. The Croatians suffered a huge disappointment in 2016 when they ended runners-up but managed to make it a step further two years later.

In an exclusive interview with the Davis Cup site, Dodig said of his best Davis Cup memory: "Logically last year, when we won the title. It was an incredible tournament for Croatia, for our people. We had a difficult year in 2016 when we played the final at home and lost to Argentina.

It was a hard blow but two years later we did it and it was sensational. We hope to continue like this." Croatia will now be targeting to win the inaugural Davis Cup Finals event layer this year and defend their title.
