Richel Hogenkamp and Svetlana Kuznetsova have entered history. Yesterday, in the second match of the Fed Cup challenge between Russia and Netherlands, the two tennis players have created an unprecedented battle in the history of the Fed Cup.
After more of four-hour match, Hogenkamp beat her rival with a final score of 7-6 (4) 5-7 10-8, thus marking the longest match in the history of the competition, improving eleven minutes the previous record made by Vilmarie Castellvi and Aleksandra Wozniak, dated 2005.
