Maria Sharapova: 9/10 Sharapova got down and dirty in Rome, needing to come back from behind in matches several times. In the final, she won after being down 4-6, 0-4. Magnificent! Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal: 8/10 Both men played well throughout the week, although each had his moments of uncertainty.
We can't go higher than 8 though, considering that they both refused to play in the final on a court that was perfectly playable. Serena Williams: 7/10 Serena would probably have won the tournament if a back problem hadn't caused he to bow out early.
She is looking in fine form, and will be a threat at Roland Garros. Andy Murray: 3/10 The Scot's poor play continues, and he now finds himself in one of the worst patches he's seen in many months. He just can't get it done on clay, and Ivan Lendl hasn't been able to help him.
Roger Federer - 7/10 Federer nearly didn't play here because of fatigue, and considering how quickly he had to turn around after Madrid last week, he did well here. His match against Djokovic was one to forget, however, and he'll have to play better at Roland Garros if he's going to challenge for the title.
