The 5 best matches of last week

Last tennis week was another decisive moment of the season, for several reasons. The important ATP tournaments were played in Beijing and Tokyo, real starters of the Shanghai Masters 1000. Many tennis players are still looking for points for the qualification for the ATP and the WTA Finals, many others need victories and points to reach good positions in the rankings before close 2018.

Many great players like Juan Martin del Potro, Kei Nishikori, Alexander Zverev, Caroline Wozniacki and Naomi Osaka have challenged the courts in this Asian swing.
Tennis World wuld like to recall last seven days with the five best matches.

5) Malek Jaziri vs. Alexander Zverev - Beijing. Incredible but true, Alexander Zverev can no longer play a solid and convincing match. the unpredictability of his Tunisian adversary was enough to send him into crisis.

Jaziri won deservedly in two sets! 4) Richard Gasquet vs Nick kyrgios - Tokyo.

What a match! The Frenchman needed two tie-breaks to overcome his rival. Gasquet offered the Japanese crowd a great performance, while the Australian is still going through a negative phase. 3) Naomi Osaka vs Shuai Zhang - Beijing.

She is the tennis player of the moment and in the women's Tour for now she has few rivals. In three sets, the Japanese defeated the Chinese rival at the end of a real battle! 2) Richard Gasquet vs Kevin Anderson - Tokyo.

In Japan, Gasquet needed two more tie-breaks, also to overcome Anderson. The Frenchman was the protagonist of a great tournament, even if it was not enough to win the title! 1) Denis Shapovalov vs.

Jan-Lennard Struff - Tokyo. It was the best match of last week! Three sets of emotions (especially in the second one), great shots and lots of fun for the crowd. The Russian defeated his opponent after a very strenuous challenge! ALSO READ: Vote for September's ATP Player of the Month (SURVEY INSIDE!)
