Australian Open day 12 recap: Novak Djokovic or Rafael Nadal?

Novak Djokovic reached Rafael Nadal in the final of the Australian Open 2019. The Serb defeated Lucas Pouille in three sets, avoiding Frenchman's vain resistance. On Sunday we will be witnesses of the 53rd match between Rafa and Nole, with the Serbian leading 27-25, a record that will improve.

Talking about Nadal and records, the Spaniard could beat a new record by winning Sunday; defeating Djokovic, Rafa could win the Double Grand Slam, or win at least twice all four Slam tournaments. An achievement that has not achieved by anyone in the Open Era, and that only Rod Laver and Roy Emerson have achieved before.

Naomi Osaka is the last presumed victim of whitewashing. Nissin Foods, a Japanese giant specialized in noodles, has, in fact, used a design in an advertising campaign that in theory should have portrayed Osaka, but which actually brings the face of a white woman with brown hair: "I talked with them, they apologized", assured Osaka.

Severin Luthi explains how Roger Federer does not think about retirement: "What I can say is that if Roger had already decided to stop at the end of the season, he would have required a different kind of physical preparation to Pierre Paganini.

There is too much speculation around him, he has always chosen not to pay any attention to it, to not answer to all the voices. His retirement, sooner or later it will happen, but now it is not on the agenda." Everything is ready for the final between Naomi Osaka and Petra Kvitova.

Who will be the new women's singles champion at the Australian Open 2019?
